How much are my golf clubs insured for?

Direct Travel/AllSafe (Allianz)
Section P: Optional Sports Cover (DTI) or Section O: Optional Sports Cover (AllSafe) - if your sporting equipment is lost or damaged by a travel supplier or is stolen while you are on your trip, we will pay you, less available refunds, the lowest of the following, up to the maximum benefit listed for Sporting Equipment Damage, Loss, or Theft in your Cover:

  1. The cost to repair the damaged sporting equipment
  2. or
  3. The cost to replace the lost, damaged or stolen sporting equipment with the same or similar item, reduced by 10% for each full year of use since the original purchase date, up to the maximum of 50% reduction.

Please note: for items without an original receipt or a proof of purchase, we will provide cover based on up to 50% of the cost to replace the lost, damaged or stolen item with the same or similar item.

Sports equipment on a policy underwritten by Allianz is defined as equipment or goods used to participate in a sport.


Fit2Travel (Arch)
Section GO1 - If your golf equipment is delayed: if your golf equipment did not arrive at your trip destination within 24 hours of your arrival because it was misplaced by your transport provider, we will pay you up to £50 for covering hiring golf equipment if yours is delayed over 12 hours up to a maximum of £300.

Section GO2 - If your golf equipment is lost, stolen or accidentally damaged: we will pay you £1,000 in total for lost, stolen or accidentally damaged golf equipment after a deduction for wear and tear, however the most we will pay for any single article, pair or set is £250. The most we will pay for unreceipted items is £150.

Golf equipment on a policy underwritten by Arch are defined as: golf clubs, golf balls, golf trolley, golf shoes, and waterproof clothing.


Goodtogo (Red Sands)
The Golf cover Extension covers you for the cost of repair of golf equipment that is partially damaged whilst on your trip, up to the market value of the item, allowing for age, wear, and tear or the market value of the golf equipment, allowing for age, wear, and tear to cover golf equipment that is stolen, permanently lost, or destroyed whilst on your trip.

This is provided that you own the golf equipment you are claiming for, and are able to provide proof of ownership/purchase and original purchase price for any golf equipment over £50 in value.

Golf equipment on a policy underwritten by Red Sands are defined as: golf clubs, golf balls, golf bag, golf trolley, and golf shoes.
