Am I covered if there were to be a terror-related attack?

Your cover for a terror-related incident varies depending on the policy you have purchased. The following statements have been taken directly from the relevant Policy Wordings.

Direct Travel or Allsafe (Allianz)
This policy does not provide cover for any loss that results directly or indirectly from any of the following general exclusions if they affect you, a travelling companion or a family member:
30. Terrorist events, except under Emergency Medical/Dental Cover Abroad or Emergency Transport.

Fit2Travel (Arch)
We will not cover any loss, damage, death, disablement or expenses directly or indirectly occasioned by, happening through or in consequence of war, invasion, acts of foreign enemies, hostilities (whether war be declared or not), civil war, rebellion, revolution, insurrection, Acts of Terrorism, military or usurped power or confiscation or nationalisation or requisition or destruction of or damage to property by or under the order of any government or public or local authority.

This exclusion will not apply to Section B8 – If you need emergency medical treatment abroad, providing you did not travel against the advice of the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO).

Freespirit (Canopius)
We will not pay any claim arising directly or indirectly from:
19) war, act of terrorism, nuclear risks, hostilities (whether war be declared or not), civil war, rebellion, revolution, insurrection, military or usurped power, civil commotion, confiscation or nationalisation or requisition or destruction of or damage to property by or under the order of any government, public or local authority.

This exclusion shall not apply to claims under Section B1 - Emergency Medical & Associated Expenses providing:
the act of terrorism is not of a nuclear nature; and at the time of travel you are not travelling to a country or area that the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office lists as a place which they either advise against all travel to, or all travel on holiday.

Goodtogo (Red Sands)
You are not covered under any section, unless specified, for any of the following circumstances:
24. In respect of all sections other than emergency medical expenses; war, terrorism, biological or chemical warfare, invasion, act of foreign enemy, hostilities (whether war has been declared or not), civil war, rebellion, revolution, insurrection or military or usurped power.
