Do you cover cruises?
Yes. A majority of our policies include cover for emergency medical expenses while you're onboard a cruise ship - although it's always worth checking with us if you're unsure.
If you are need cover for cruise-specific benefits like cabin confinement or missed port of call, you would need to apply the Cruise Cover extension. This is subject to an additional premium.
It's important to make sure that your cruise travel insurance policy meets the requirements of the cruise provider, and that it covers you for each of the countries you're travelling to - even if you do not disembark.
We would suggest that you check your Policy Wording so that you are aware of the exact cover you receive with the Cruise extension.
