It is recommended that travel insurance is purchased as soon as your first trip payment is made even if you have only paid a small deposit.
Travel insurance should be purchased as soon as you would like to be covered for cancellation for your trip. For single trip policies, your cancellation cover comes into effect on the day of purchase, and all other benefits begin on the day you travel. For annual policies, the cover begins on the commencement date of the policy so please ensure you select the correct start date so you are fully covered for cancellation.
