Méribel is a ski resort nestled in the French Alps' Savoie region, made up of three main villages. Méribel Centre is the lively heart of the resort, packed with shops, restaurants, and après-ski spots. Méribel-Mottaret offers ski-in/ski-out convenience, ideal for easy slope access. Méribel Village is quieter and more traditional, perfect for a relaxed stay. The resort’s chalet-style architecture and cosy accommodations give it a charming and authentic feel. 85% of its terrain is situated above 1,800 metres, ensuring excellent snow conditions throughout the season. Beyond skiing, Méribel’s central location within Les 3 Vallées makes it an ideal destination for those looking to explore the extensive ski area while enjoying the ambiance of a traditional mountain village.
As part of Les 3 Vallées, the world's largest ski area boasting 600 kilometres of slopes, Méribel gives skiers of any level access to an extensive network of runs. The resort itself has 71 ski runs and 42 lifts, on a high-altitude terrain which ensures generous powder and well-groomed pistes. Families and fun-seekers will love Méribel's themed slopes, while those looking for something more challenging can head towards the iconic Combe du Vallon. For families with little ones interested in the local wildlife, the Animal Tracks slope takes you on an educational journey through the forest. Méribel seamlessly blends challenging runs with family-friendly fun, all set against the stunning backdrop of the Alps. Whether you're carving down iconic pistes, exploring themed trails, or taking part in a different winter activity entirely, there's something for everyone.
Méribel’s après-ski scene has a bit of everything, whether you’re up for a lively party, a relaxed drink, or something totally different. The fun often starts right on the slopes in the afternoon, with mountain bars kicking off the après vibe around 3pm. Picture DJs, live music, and skiers still in their boots, dancing as the sun sets over the Alps. Once you’re back in the village, the options open up even more. There’s a great mix of bars, from cosy, laid-back spots where you can enjoy a quiet wine by the fire to buzzing venues with live performances and themed nights. Or if you’re not in the mood for a bar scene, Méribel has plenty of alternative après-ski activities. You can go night sledging under the stars, check out the ice skating rink, or catch a movie at the local cinema. There’s also a strong live music scene, with bands and DJs playing everything from rock to jazz to electronic beats throughout the week. Whether you want to dance into the early hours or simply enjoy the alpine atmosphere with a good drink and great company, Méribel makes the evenings just as memorable as the days.
