Courchevel is a world-renowned ski resort in the French Alps, with six unique villages offering a mix of luxury, charm, and adventure. Each village has its own personality: Courchevel 1850 is the most glamorous, with luxury hotels, Michelin-starred restaurants, and designer boutiques, while Courchevel Moriond and Courchevel Village lean towards a more relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere. Courchevel Le Praz and La Tania provide a cosy, authentic alpine experience, perfect for those who love traditional chalets and quieter surroundings.
Courchevel is a skier’s dream. It has 150 km of pristine slopes within the world’s largest ski area of Les 3 Vallées, which in total has 600 km of interconnected runs. Whether you're a beginner, an intermediate skier, or a seasoned pro, there’s something for everyone. Courchevel 1650 (Moriond) and Courchevel Village provide gentle, wide slopes for beginners, while Courchevel 1850 has blue and red runs perfect for intermediate skiers. For advanced thrill-seekers, an absolute must is the legendary Grand Couloir, one of the steepest black runs in Europe, along with off-piste powder fields and freeride zones. Snowboarders and freestyle skiers can also hit the Family Park and snowcross tracks, while cross-country skiers have 66 km of Nordic trails to explore. With an exceptionally long season from early December to late April, high-altitude skiing, and modern lifts, Courchevel delivers an unbeatable skiing experience.
Courchevel has a diverse and lively après-ski scene, so whether you're in the mood for a relaxed drink by the fire or a high-energy night out, there's a perfect spot for you. For a sophisticated atmosphere, head to Madame's Bar for signature cocktails or Le 8611, where expert mixologists craft unique drinks. If you’re after a more casual setting, La Luge is a great place for beers and live music. The Fire & Ice Bar is also a must for après-ski, with its heated terrace and mountain views. Or, dance until dawn at Funky Fox or La Taïga, where DJs keep the party going. Many bars also serve delicious tapas and snacks too, making it easy to settle in for the evening.
