Can I take out insurance if I am currently under investigation for an illness?

Currently, we are unable to offer cover for a medical condition or set of symptoms, which is under investigation or undiagnosed. We do not have the ability to exclude any medical conditions from cover, so on this basis we cannot ignore this condition or offer a quote.

Please note, that if you are on a waiting list for a diagnosed condition, we may still be able to provide you with a quote. If this is the case, we would not be able to provide cover for cancellation or cutting your trip short in relation to this condition. However, being on the waiting list does not affect the cover while you are abroad for conditions you have already declared during your medical screening.

Be aware that if there is a substantial likelihood of a health condition deteriorating at the time you booked your trip, you would not be covered. This includes medical conditions for yourself, your travelling companion, your close relative, or someone upon whom the trip may depend.
