Can I take out insurance if I am currently under investigation for an illness?

We are unable to offer cover for any medical condition that is currently under investigation or is not a stable condition.

You will not be covered for any claim directly or indirectly relating to the diagnosed medical condition if the appointment for treatment conflicts with the planned journey, or you become unable to travel on the planned trip as a result of the awaited results or treatment.

Please be aware that you will not be covered if at the time of booking a trip you are aware that there is a substantial likelihood that the health of your travelling companion, a close relative or someone upon whom the trip may depend may affect your decision to travel or cut short your trip.
