What do you mean by 'have you ever' in the medical declaration?
Our 'have you ever' questions mean 'have you ever, at any point in your life'.
So you may need to answer 'yes' for conditions you had many years ago, such as:
- any type of cancer
- any respiratory condition
- diabetes
- any mental health condition, such as depression, anxiety or an eating disorder
This applies however long ago the condition was, and whether or not you think it is relevant. If the declaration isn't completed fully, a claim could be turned down or not paid in full.
