What is a CVV number?

CVV is an anti-fraud security feature to help verify that you are in possession of your credit or debit card.

The CVV Number (Card Verification Value) on your credit card or debit card is a 3-digit number on VISA/MASTERCARD branded credit and debit cards and is printed on the signature panel on the back of the card immediately after the card’s account number.

On your American Express branded credit or debit card it is a 4-digit numeric code found on the front of your card just above and to the right of your main card number.

If you need any further clarification, please call our Customer Service team on 0330 880 3600.
