My cruise itinerary changed, can I claim?

We can confirm that if you have purchased a Direct Travel or AllSafe policy (and applied the cruise extension), that you are covered if your cruise “misses a scheduled port of call indicated on your original itinerary or replaces it with another port of call indicated on your original itinerary”.

You are also covered for ‘If your ship's itinerary changes’ on our Fit2Travel policies. This would be subject to the additional premium associated with the cruise cover extension.

We can confirm that for Freespirit and Goodtogo policies, cruise cover is included as standard, and an additional premium would not need to be paid in order to be covered to travel on a cruise. This means that the cover you have for being on a cruise is included under each applicable section in your Policy Wording, and you will need to check that you are adequately covered for the cruise cover you require.
