Is there an age limit on backpacker policies?
Yes. Backpacker insurance is available to travellers aged up to and including 36 at the start of the policy.
If you are 37 or older, you can still get cover for a long trip. A single trip policy can cover one long journey, and our annual multi-trip policies suit several shorter trips in a year. Age limits and maximum trip lengths depend on the policy you choose, and you will see what is available when you get a quote.
Travelling later in life? We also offer travel insurance for over-75s.
