Thomsons Tunisia Summer Programme Cancelled
Tui UK have cancelled their summer programme to Tunisia, and will not reinstate flights until the 1st November 2016 at least.
The statement comes following the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office continuing to advise against all but essential travel to the country.
Tui UK have said that any affected customers will be able to change their destination to any other currently on sale, or receive a full refund. Any trip amendments will not incur an amendment fee, and customers who amend their holiday by the 29th February 2016 will be offered £30 per person compensation.
The Tunisian government have stated that they will be extending the state of emergency in Tunisia until the 21st February. Thirty-eight people were killed in a terrorist attack in the resort of Sousse last July, and 21 were killed last February in a terrorist attack on the Bardo National Museum in the capital city of Tunis.
