Flights Disrupted Across South East Airports Again By Heavy Fog

Last update: 18th March, 2017

Airports in the south east woke up to heavy fog this morning, resulting in flight delays and cancellations.

The extremely foggy conditions saw London City Airport cancel and delay several arriving and departing flights, with some customers delayed for several hours.

Warning their followers on Twitter, London City Airport, tweeted: “Please check with your airline when travelling this morning as conditions in the area may cause delays to some flights.”

Departing flights cancelled included flights to Rotterdam, Luxembourg, Frankfurt, and Amsterdam.

The foggy weather conditions in the south east have now cleared.
