A ‘Single Trip’ refers to a policy which covers you to take just one holiday. The pre-trip cancellation cover begins immediately after purchase, and the dates on your Policy Certificate are indicative of when you are at your destination(s). Your policy would expire when you return to your home in the United Kingdom.
The term 'individual' means that the policy is covering one, or many, individuals with no relation to each other. Multiple individuals would usually be termed as a 'Group'. This would be input during the Quote process when you are asked who you wish the insurance to cover.
An ‘Annual Multi-Trip’, in comparison, covers you for a maximum time period of a year, for as many holidays as you wish to take within that time period. Please note there are maximum trip duration limits which apply to AMT policies.
