A high influx of travellers are expected to cross the Channel this weekend, causing potential delays.
Security checks are also thought to pose a risk of increased delays to traveller’s journeys.
Updating their French online page, the FCDO stated: “The weekend of 27 May 2017, will see high passenger numbers using cross Channel services.
“There’s a risk of delays, including because of security checks. You should check the website of your chosen operator before you set off.”
