Can my family travel independently on an annual policy?

All our Annual Multi-Trip travel insurance policies allow family members to travel independently.

Anyone named on the policy can travel without the main insured person for trips of up to the full single trip limit.

• 31 days if you have Budget cover or Standard cover;
• 45 days if you have Premier cover; or
• 62 days if you have Premier Plus cover.

There’s no limit on the number of independent trips in the year, so we can offer travel insurance cover for the vast majority of situations where independent travel occurs – holidays with friends, long weekends even school trips.

Children travelling alone on their parent’s annual multi trip policy must be accompanied by a responsible adult, such as a relative, guardian or school teacher.

Skiing and snowboarding holidays are covered for up to 17 days per year on our annual Winter Sports insurance policies.
