Country hit by 3 earthquakes

At 15:54 local time on 5 April 2009 a 4.3-magnitude earthquake was registered in the Metropolitan Area of Caracas, as well as in the states of Vargas, Aragua and Miranda. The epicentre of the quake was located approximately 11 miles northeast of La Guaira. Residents in Caracas felt the quake for several seconds, but there were no reports of damage or injuries.
At 19:56 local time on 5 April a 4.0-magnitude earthquake was registered in the state of Falcon. Its epicentre was located 12 miles west of Churuguara, at a depth of 1mile. State officials reported that the earthquake was felt lightly in the zone, but did not result in any injuries or damage.
At 0012 local time on 6 April a 4.5-magnitude earthquake was registered in the western zones of Venezuela. Its epicentre was located in the community of Moron, in the coastal state of Carabobo. There were no reports of damage or injuries.
Authorities warn that seismic activity could continue throughout the remainder of the week.
