T6 at JFK briefly evacuated
22 Sep 2008
Authorities briefly evacuated Terminal 6, the JetBlue Airways terminal, at John F. Kennedy International Airport (KJFK/JFK) in New York at 0750 local time on 22 September 2008. Reports indicate that authorities discovered a suspicious package that included "replica grenades" inside a bag that was passing through a security scanner. Security officers later determined that the package posed no threat to the facility and have since reopened the terminal. Several JetBlue flights were delayed as a result of the incident.
