New passport regulations come into effect

New passport regulations come into effect on 1 June 2009 for U.S. travellers returning to the United States from Canada, Mexico, Bermuda and Caribbean destinations (other than Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands, which are U.S. territories) by land and sea.
Travellers must show a U.S. passport, a U.S. passport card, a "Trusted Traveler" card or an "enhanced" driver's license.
