Ice storm disrupts transportation thoughout Dallas

An ice storm has caused transportation disruptions throughout the Dallas-Ft. Worth metropolitan area on 28 January 2009. The situation has resulted in delays on major highways and roads. Some delays and cancellations have been reported at Dallas-Ft. Worth International Airport (KDFW/DFW), though the facility's runways are operational. More than 185 flights were canceled at the airport on 27 January. Cancellations have also been reported at Dallas Love Field (KDAL/DAL).
