Weather continues to affect all transport services

Disruptions to air and ground transportation continue in parts of the United Kingdom today due to heavy snowfall and ice. In the London area, London City Airport (LCY) remains closed, and officials anticipate continued delays and cancellations at Gatwick (LGW), Heathrow (LHR), Luton (LTN) and Stansted (STN) airports. Rail services are also experiencing disruptions, with intercity, commuter and Eurostar trains being affected. London underground services on the Circle line is suspended, and other lines are facing partial closure include the Bakerloo, District and Hammersmith and City lines. Conditions are expected to improve throughout the day on 3 February, but there is a potential for additional snowfall on 4 February.
