Poloceman shot in Nth Ireland

A policeman has been killed in County Armagh as he responded to a call for help from a distressed woman who said her house was being attacked. Two police vehicles went to the scene. As officers got out, they were shot at. One man was hit and he died later. The shooting happened on Monday night at Lismore Manor, Craigavon, at about 2145 GMT. This is the first murder of a police officer in NI since 1998.
