Cargo plane crashes near Entebbe airport

At least 10 people on board a cargo aeroplane are feared dead after it crashed near Uganda's main airport at Entebbe. The aircraft came down in Lake Victoria near Bugunga Island. It is not yet known what caused the crash, but eyewitnesses reported seeing the plane catch fire before it crashed in the lake. It was carrying water purifiers, pipes and other equipment which was bound for Ugandan peacekeepers in Somalia.
