Two low-intensity percussion bombs detonated in central Istanbul

Two low-intensity percussion bombs detonated in central Istanbul on 28 April 2009, causing minor damage and no injuries. One of the devices exploded outside a student dormitory on the Asian side of the city, while the other exploded in a parking lot near a military academy in the Maslak district on the European side. There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the bombings.
