Bomb explosion outside Internet café in Beyoglu

During the evening hours of 23 April 2009, a low-intensity bomb exploded outside an Internet café in Beyoglu, a crowded district located in downtown Istanbul. Five people were injured in the incident, but there were no reports of significant damage. A second device was discovered on the same street, but was safely neutralized by authorities. No group has claimed responsibility.
