BRITISH PAIR IN CARIBBEAN MACHETE ATTACK

A British couple have been seriously injured in a machete attack during a suspected robbery on the Caribbean island of Tobago. The couple, originally from Reading, Berkshire, were attacked on Saturday afternoon and they were airlifted to a regional medical centre in Trinidad where they are being treated. Police found Mr Greene inside the house with serious wounds to his face and head. Police have said "It's a matter of serious concern, this is another serious attack on tourists." Robbery had not been ruled out as a motive and the attack was similar to the unsolved killing in October of a Swedish couple on the Caribbean island.
