Virgin Atlantic has announced that it is launching new Manchester-Las Vegas flights next year.
Next year will see holidaymakers able to take advantage of more flying options to Las Vegas.
Virgin Atlantic has announced that it is to launch a new twice-weekly service from Manchester to the US city in April 2011.
It already flies to Barbados and Orlando from Manchester and will operate the new flights on Thursdays and Sundays from April 3rd 2011.
Virgin Atlantic has carried nearly two million passengers to Las Vegas from Gatwick since 2000.
"This is great news for our passengers and further strengthens the airport's long-haul route network," commented Andrew Cornish, managing director of Manchester Airport.
Visitors to Las Vegas may want to take out
holiday insurance in case their travel plans are disrupted or they suffer an illness or injury while abroad.
As well as its many casinos, some of Las Vegas's other attractions include the Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay, Stratosphere Tower and the Secret Garden of Siegfried & Roy at the Mirage.
