Tourists brave enough to bear the heat in the United Arab Emirates could visit during the summer months.
Tourists who find themselves choosing holiday destinations because of their proximity to plenty of sun, beach and seaside could do well to schedule a trip to the United Arab Emirates.
Nadine Hallak, spokeswoman for cheapflights.co.uk, explained that Dubai and Abu Dhabi boast temperatures above 40 degrees C in July and August, which could prove ideal for those looking to sit by the pool with a cool drink all day.
But the soaring temperatures do not bode well for working in the countries, as Ms Hallak explained how "many locals try to save their holiday time for most, if not the entire month, of July or August in order to avoid the heat".
And those searching for the ideal hotel room might find this time of year provides plenty of options, as the expert stated many Middle Eastern countries experienced a "lull" thanks to the height of the mercury - and accommodation deals might crop up as owners have been seen to reduce prices as a result.
However, Formula One and chick-flick Sex and the City II have both contributed to increasing numbers of visitors to Abu Dhabi as the latter's glamorous portrayal included the four main characters enjoying cocktails by the pool, excursions to the desert and slap-up alfresco meals in the evening.
Adventure seekers planning on following in the protagonists' well-heeled footsteps could do well to check their annual trip insurance policy is up to date, particularly in case of a lost passport like that of Sarah Jessica Parker's character in the film.
