Taste Adelaide on a gourmet walking tour

Category: Australasia Travel Insurance News
Adelaide has much to offer food lovers

Food lovers might want to indulge in a gourmet walking tour while on a trip to Adelaide.

Four new gourmet walking tours of Adelaide have been launched by a specialist tour operator.

The Insiders Adelaide tours from Taste of South Australia take in wine tastings, food markets and a stroll down Rundle Street - known locally as a street for foodies.

One tour combines all things edible with a look at some of Adelaide's classic cultural attractions, while another heads to the pubs of the East End area of the Australian city.

Tours last from two to four hours and the price includes an expert local guide, entrance fees, a goodie bag and a light meal.

Other highlights of a holiday to Adelaide include its many parks, colonial architecture and attractions exploring Australia's Aboriginal and European heritage.

Those travelling to Adelaide might want to take out holiday insurance for peace of mind when it comes to possible issues such as lost luggage, medical expenses and treatment, and travel delays.
