Tanzania offers a "thrilling volume" of wildlife to see
Adventure holidays are no longer all about giving up on luxury accommodation or creature comforts and now appeal to all ages of holidaymakers, explained Catrionna Grant, writing for Skyscanner.
She went on to say that a visit to the Serengeti offers the "truly magical sight" of the largest mammal migration in the world between May to August when the Wildebeest move on after the rainy season.
There is a "thrilling volume" of wildlife to see, she continued, with zebras, lions, cheetahs, antelopes and buffalo all providing excellent photo opportunities.
Visitors may also wish to pay a visit to the crater of what was once the Ngorongoro Volcano which is now one of the "most stunning natural wonders in the world", she added.
The Foreign and Commonwealth Office recommends holidaymakers take out fully comprehensive travel insurance and ensure that any activities they book are covered under the policy.
Around 50,000 Britons visit Tanzania every year on holiday.
