Spain has topped a poll for the most family-friendly holiday destination.
Families thinking of taking out travel insurance and heading on holiday have a range of popular choices to select from in Europe.
According to the latest Abta 2011 Consumer Trends Survey, which was announced at the Travel Convention in Palma Mallorca, Spain is the number-one spot for many people.
It has been named the most family-friendly holiday destination and many other parts of the Mediterranean feature in the top-ten rundown.
Almost one-in-five participants said Spain was a hit, with one-in-four 35 to 44 year olds admitting they were keen to go there.
But the UK also proved popular and was given second place overall, proving that the country has a lot to offer people of all tastes.
Third spot went to the US, which may be a result of its theme parks and famous hospitality, revealed Abta - which was set up more than 60 years ago to support its members and tourists.
Chief executive Mark Tanzer comments: "All of the countries in the top 10 deserve our thanks and congratulations for the incredible holidays they have provided to British families for many years and will continue to for many more years to come."
He says he is unsurprised by the results regarding Spain, as it offers an "amazing welcome" and facilities that are renowned among many people in the UK.
Director of the Spanish Tourist Office Ignacio Vasallo claims the body is "delighted" with the news and reveals it is a "pleasure" that there is so much loyalty coming from British tourists.
