See the Red Arrows and a parachute display on holiday in Devon
Entertainment in the skies, on the water as well as on land, will amuse travel insurance customers of all ages at an August coastal festival in South Devon, the tourist board has said.
More than 200 sailing vessels will take to the water from yachts to dinghies for racing events between the 27th and 29th in the harbour of the South Devon town of Dartmouth.
Air and sea rescue demonstrations will be carried out and visitors will get the chance to see a Spitfire, Hurricane and a Lancaster Bomber fly over.
The Red Arrows and the Black Knights Army Parachute Team will also put on a performance for spectators.
On the final night of the Regatta, celebrations will culminate in a firework display after a day of barrel rolling contests and fancy dress races.
A report from insurer LV= in May reminded holidaymakers of the importance of a travel insurance policy while on a break in the UK - as people carry the same belongings with them whether at home or abroad.
Even if you’re travelling within the UK, holiday insurance from Direct Travel Insurance is still a sensible purchase as the expense of dealing with issues on a holiday can be costly in any country.
