Those visiting Kenya should take in a safari or two during their stay, it is suggested.
Travel insurance policyholders keen to have a unique experience during their holidays could consider a trip to Kenya.
Angie Sloan, Kenya Tourist Board UK director, explains there is plenty of wildlife to see when visiting the country.
Safari's are the ideal way to do this, with Tsavo National Park spanning 9,000 sq km and offering a rich array of animals, with more than 600 species of bird.
The Mzima Springs are one of the highlights of the site - which is split into East and West Tsavo - with an underwater hippo observatory being a favourite among many travellers.
"First of all, enjoy. And second of all, don't forget your camera," Ms Sloan notes.
This is key for anyone visiting the nation, but particularly individuals heading on their first safari, as the experience is one to remember.
Some 59 national parks are on offer and Ms Sloan says this is a "land of endless potential" for those keen to see the Big Five, as well as other creatures.
"The sheer abundance of wildlife ensures visitors will always have an amazing safari experience," she suggests.
One way to explore the offerings is to enjoy a bush breakfast, although another great idea is to take a balloon ride over the rolling savannah.
"The national parks are so different in topography and wildlife so it is definitely worth visiting two or three for completely different experiences followed by total relaxation on the coast," Ms Sloan adds.
Figures from the Kenya Tourist Board recently revealed tourism arrivals during the first quarter of 2011 were record-breaking, with an increase of almost 40 per cent in January, compared with the same month of 2010.
