People are being urged to visit Japan again, following the recent earthquake.
April and May be the best months of the year to visit Japan, as the famous cherry blossom is in full bloom in parts of the country.
Kylie Clark, PR and marketing manager and the Japan National Tourism Organisation's London office, explains there are many areas that have not been affected by the recent earthquake and tsunami.
People in these parts of the nation are relying on tourism from travel insurance policyholders and other visitors.
"It's an incredible destination and it continues to warmly welcome visitors just as it did before this terrible tragedy," Ms Clark says.
Tourists should head to Tokyo and Kyoto if they want to see the beautiful blossom this month and next, she adds.
Her comments come as the
Foreign and Commonwealth Office announced it is not advising against non-essential travel to Tokyo any more.
It has revised its guidance this week, following talks at a meeting chaired by the foreign secretary.
Head of media and communications at the British Embassy in Tokyo, Tom Burn, said: "The previous advice took into account the impact of the earthquake on infrastructure and on the distribution of supplies, as well as the potential for the situation at Fukushima to directly affect Japan's largest city."
His comments refer to the nuclear power station at Fukushima, which was disrupted by the recent earthquake that damaged the reactors at the site, causing radiation fears.
However, Mr Burn said there is progress being made and "the chances of a serious deterioration ... recede".
