Those heading to Brussels this month will have a unique opportunity to delve into the city's Art Nouveau interiors and designs.
Art lovers may want to head to Brussels this month to take advantage of the chance to see unique Art Nouveau interiors that are not normally available for public viewing.
The Brussels Biennial of Art Nouveau will see private houses and mansions, hotels, schools and shops open their doors to those wanting to see some "exceptional" interiors designed in the late 19th and early 20th century, according to the Belgian Tourist Office.
Art Nouveau came to the fore as the first new art style of the 20th century at the 1900 World's Fair in Paris.
Each weekend in October will see a different district of Brussels show off its Art Nouveau masterpieces, with guided tours available for those visiting the city.
Additional screenings, concerts and conferences exploring the Art Nouveau movement will also take place across Brussels, while tourists may also want to enjoy some of the other activities on offer in the capital like go-karting and ice skating - although
travel insurance may be advisable before undertaking these.
