Britons can get good value for money by travelling to Prague, according to one expert.
UK holidaymakers looking for value for money should head to Prague, it has been suggested.
According to CzechTourism spokesperson Filip Remenec, there is plenty of affordable accommodation in the city for those on a tight budget.
He adds that Prague offers a wide range of attractions for holidaymakers, including the largest UNESCO World Heritage site on the planet, which includes historical sights like Prague Castle, the Old Town Bridge and the Old Town Square.
In terms of food, "national dishes like salami with sauce and dumplings or pork with sauce and dumplings or potatoes and pancakes" are available in Prague, Mr Remenec comments.
A recent study by the Post Office found that Prague is one of the cheapest destinations in the world for a weekend city break based on the cost of a number of typical items that are purchased by tourists on such getaways.
Those looking to reduce holiday costs further could look for cheap
travel insurance.
