British tourists are drawn to Poland because of its old-world appeal and value for money, according to the country's tourist board.
Holidaymakers consider Poland to be a good value-for-money destination, according to the country's national tourist office.
Noting that the country is "terribly diverse" - offering seas, lakes, rivers and mountains - Ewa Binkin, PR and press manager of the Polish National Tourist Office, commented that holidaymakers are sure to find something to appeal to everyone on their travels.
She said that Poland offers "uniqueness" thanks to its European heritage and suggested that modern tourists may find its "authentic flair" particularly appealing.
British tourists may be drawn to city breaks in Warsaw or Krakow, while those looking to experience winter sports such as skiing may find prices are lower in Poland than other alpine locations, she added.
A
travel insurance plan with winter sports cover may be worth considering before hitting the slopes in Europe or further afield.
