A photography exhibition could hold appeal for snappers holidaying in China.
Photography lovers embarking on a holiday in China might want to plan their trip to coincide with a festival taking place at the country's Great Wall.
Stay You has been curated in collaboration with Xitek.com and Holiday Inn and boasts a selection of the images sent in by thousands of contributors over a six-week timeframe.
Participants were asked to send pictures showing them "being themselves" and the initiative received almost 10,000 submissions.
The 106 winning snaps will be displayed at the site while some 300 others will be shown at alternative sites around the country.
But tourists who cannot make the start of the festival - which was launched on September 26th - might prefer to wait until later in the month when the main showpiece is unveiled.
Xiao Quan, one of the country's finest photographers, has created a piece and said: "When I capture a moment with the lens, I work to expose the essence of my subject ... my piece, discloses a lady's fundamental true being: she is relaxed and just being herself."
Indeed, annual trip insurance policyholders will be among great company as the exhibition at the Great Wall of China is expected to attract "the highest number of visitors for any themed photography exhibition in China", according to the organisers.
What's more, travellers who visit the country between October 8th and November 7th might find the 24th International Music Festival in Macau holds appeal.
Artists from all over the world will participate in the city's event, which may be the ideal way to top up on culture after viewing the photography exhibit.
