'Now is the time to visit Dublin'
Britons considering a holiday to Dublin might want to book their flights and travel insurance as soon as possible to get to the city in time for Bloomsday, according to the Telegraph.
The newspaper suggests that now is the ideal time to plan a trip to the Irish capital as the Bloomsday festival - which celebrates the famous James Joyce novel, Ulysses, and is in its 105th year - is looming on the event calendar on June 16th.
It notes that the city is fast becoming one of the most attractive cultural destinations in Europe and recommends activities such as wandering around Trinity College's beautiful courtyards and quadrangles and checking out the Dublin Writers' Museum.
Other top attractions include St Stephen's Green, a centrally-located park that is a hotspot for Dubliners when the sun shines, and the 1916 Rebellion Walking Tour.
The Foreign & Commonwealth Office recommends that travellers to Dublin take out comprehensive medical and travel insurance before setting off.
