Australia's New South Wales has plenty to offer people of all tastes, it is claimed.
Travel insurance policyholders keen to experience a varied break could consider heading to New South Wales in Australia.
Sandra Chipchase, chief executive officer at Destination NSW, suggests the area has all sorts of activities on offer.
Some of the most popular options include The Rocks in Sydney, which is close to the famous Opera House and Harbour Bridge.
It is described as a "historic precinct" near Circular Quay, placing it in the ideal location for harbour cruising and visiting some of the city's best restaurants.
Alternatively, those in search of a beach break could check out Manly and Bondi, which are easily accessible from The Rocks area.
Suburbs such as Leichhardt - known for its Italian influence - are ideal for culure-vultures, as there is plenty to see in each of the precincts.
Ms Chipchase goes on to say: "Regional New South Wales offers tourist hotspots for every taste.
"The North Coast and South Coast for those looking for a beach and coastal-surf lifestyle holiday [or] the Blue Mountains for a magical nature experience."
She claims the region "offers something for everyone" and thanks to its size, visitors are able to experience whatever type of holiday they want.
Australia is a particularly popular spot for those on gap years, which Stuart Rees Jones, founder and chief executive officer of Camp International, recently said can be hugely beneficial.
He believes travelling the globe is an excellent way to broaden a person's horizons and find out what path they want to take in life.
