AirAsia's flights connecting London to Kuala Lumpur have been well-received.
A new budget Asian airline has enjoyed success in its London to Kuala Lumpur flights.
Just six months after it began, AirAsia has taken more than 75,000 people from the English capital to the Malaysian one.
Chief executive officer of AirAsia Azran Osman-Rani told Holiday Extras that this, coupled with other Asian routes that the airline has instigated, "prove that the long-haul low-cost model can work effectively".
He said that the demand to travel from London to Kuala Lumpur is "surging" and pointed out that budget airlines enable people to travel long-haul even when they are budgeting.
This would keep up demand for
travel insurance as well.
According to World Travel Guide, Kuala Lumpur encompasses a mix of various cultures and styles.
It notes its colonial and Chinese buildings as well as modern steel and glass constructions.
The city is also known for being warm and often experiencing thunderstorms.
Holiday Insurance from Direct Travel Insurance can cover a trip to Asia or other long-haul destinations all for a low price.
