Namibia has an array of wildlife and landscapes to explore.
Travel insurance policyholders could find plenty to explore when they take a holiday in Namibia.
According to Namibia Tourism Board sales and marketing manager Rhys Powell, the "huge" country has lots on offer for all tastes.
The size of England and France Combined, it has varying terrains that mean there is something new in almost every region.
Just one example is the wetland area in the north-east, which is dominated by flood plains where elephants trail across the water.
Boat cruises are available for tourists wishing to follow the animals in the area and head on an expedition around the wetlands.
Mr Powell notes in stark contrast is the "arid desert land" of the south, where there are some of the country's largest sand dune acting as "iconic" images of the nation.
Sossusvlei is one of the most popular parts of the region and has red dunes that people can go inside to take pictures.
"In the far south you a have different landscape again, which is the second largest canyon in the world, called Fish River Canyon," the expert notes.
Furthermore, there's the Kalahari Desert that is home to a number of meerkats.
The animals have become increasingly well known thanks to recent popular culture depicting meerkats in both fictional and real-life situations, such as the British TV programme Meerkat Manor, which followed a group of the creatures through their everyday lives.
Tourists who are not interested in wildlife might prefer Windhoek, which Mr Powell says is a "cosmopolitan city" that has architecture similar to that found in Germany and Austria.
