London Aquarium "a safe bet" for families
Parents looking for a good place to visit during the Easter holidays could do worse than the revamped London Aquarium in England's capital.
This is according to Rhoda Buchanan of the Times, who praised the new displays in the facility and suggested that the famous shark tank had lost none of its charm.
"The revamped London Aquarium isn't vastly different from its former self, but it remains a safe bet for an Easter outing," said the travel writer.
She recommended that visitors avoid going at peak times due to the "claustrophobic" nature of some parts of the tour, but praised the rock pool area and whale's rib cage viewing tunnel as two of the attraction's highlights.
While in London this Easter, travel insurance seekers may be interested in visiting the celebration of the Eucharist at Southwark Cathedral on Easter Sunday.
According to the Times, the event is one of the best concerts of any place in the country during the Easter period.
Even if you’re travelling within the UK, holiday insurance from Direct Travel Insurance is still a sensible purchase as the expense of dealing with issues on a holiday can be costly in any country.
