The Cortina mountains in Veneto offer "the perfect storm" for a getaway, the resort's tourism manager has said.

According to Cortina Turismo project manager Marianne Moretti, the mountain resort is ideal for an idyllic
summer break as well as a winter skiing holiday as it offers many summertime attractions as well as the traditional cold-weather activities.
With its breathtaking UNESCO World Heritage peaks and typical Italian style and glamour, the resort, which is situated in the northern Veneto region of the country, offers something for everyone.
"For a
summer holiday in the mountains, Cortina really is the perfect storm," said Ms Moretti.
"There are lots of activities which makes it a very unique
summer mountain resort."
Cortina has exceptional facilities for biking, hiking and climbing and also offers superb shopping areas and gourmet food options. This
summer's festivities at the resort include a folk festival and the celebration of the iconic Fiat 500 Topolino next month.
