Visitors to Australia might be surprised to find an array of luxurious accommodation choices, according to experts.
Holidaymakers boarding a long-haul flight to Australia can expect to find plenty of luxurious accommodation options available when they arrive at their destination.
Ben Briggs, brand manager at Austravel, explained that the country boasts plenty of sumptuous surroundings and tourists can book into "top-end accommodation and excursions".
The western side of the nation "is all about stunning locations, silence and space", the expert points out, adding that there is plenty to see and do in this "relatively undiscovered" part of the world.
Due to its location, Australia is serviced by long-haul flights from the UK, so although getting there might be costly, there will be more affordable deals on arrival.
Hotels on the north-west coast have benefited from more than AUD$100 million in the last year and new locations have been opened as a result.
Indeed, this investment has also increased the number of five-star rooms available, which could excite people looking for a holiday to remember.
Those who are searching for peace and quiet might want to schedule a stop at Kimberley in the north-west, Mr Briggs said: "It's one of the last great wilderness areas and has fewer people per square kilometre than almost any place on earth."
Sun-worshippers could find Cable Beach in Broome "stunning" - and hiring a camper van and exploring by road could satisfy even the most hardened explorer as Mr Briggs points out you might travel for "hours" without crossing another vehicle.
Anyone planning a trip to Australia should investigate the best
travel insurance deals available for a single trip before leaving the UK.
