New research from easyJet suggests that couples who regularly go away on holiday together are more likely to stay together than those who do not.
Couples who take regular holidays are more likely to be happy together in the long term than those who do not, a new study has suggested.
The survey by easyJet found that 81 per cent of Britons think their most recent getaway helped to strengthen their relationship with their partner.
Furthermore, those who had been away with their other half in the last six months were found to be happier on average compared with those who had taken a holiday together in the last year.
"Whether it's a weekend city break or a fortnight in the sun, a holiday provides couples with the opportunity to relax and appreciate each other in a new setting," commented Paul Simmons, UK general manager for easyJet.
Those heading away on a romantic break with their partner may want to take out
holiday insurance for peace of mind.
A recent Bupa Travel survey indicated that concerns about lost luggage top the list of Britons' main holiday worries.
