Las Vegas has plenty to offer those who have already experienced The Strip.
Visitors to Las Vegas might consider hopping aboard a helicopter with a view to exploring the city limits outside of The Strip.
That is the advice from Nadine Hallak, marketing and public relations executive at Cheapflights Media, who said such an excursion will offer "breathtaking views of the surrounding area".
The Grand Canyon is within reach of the city and could provide a great day out for families looking to catch a glimpse of one of the US's famous sights. Red Rock Canyon, the Hoover Dam and Mount Charleston are also areas ripe for exploration and they boast "spectacular scenery" that could hold appeal.
Anyone looking to get out of Las Vegas for a day or more might want to pack a car and head off on a camping excursion, as Ms Hallak explained there are plenty of areas to pitch a tent, as well as hiking trails that "truly adventurous" holidaymakers can discover.
Closer to the city's hub, restaurants, museums and attractions are available, such as the Neonopolis, which is home to a number of eateries, shows and entertainment events. The area is "so brightly lit that it almost mimics daylight", Ms Hallak added, where visitors can experience why it is nicknamed "glitter gulch".
Single trip insurance policyholders keen to visit Nevada could do well to book their accommodation soon, as figures from STR Global reveal occupancy of rooms has increased to 54.7 per cent in the last year, marking a rise of 1.7 per cent over the period.
