Norfolk could be the ideal UK holiday destination for those who prefer a relaxing getaway, according to the Norwich & Norfolk Conference Bureau.
A holiday in Norfolk can be "like taking a step back in time", according to one expert.
Virginia Edwards of the Norwich & Norfolk Conference Bureau says that there is much to recommend a trip to the region.
She notes that the area offers a "gentler" pace of life and, as such, may be particularly attractive to those looking to get away from it all.
Commenting on the fact that Norfolk's landscape is very flat, Ms Edwards claims that this is a good thing.
"You can ramble easily, you can have a great bike ride [and] we've got all sorts of boating that goes on in the Norfolk Broads," she remarks.
She adds that the waterways in the area are "unique" as they are part of a lock-free system, making it easier to go boating and canoeing.
Travellers looking to holiday in Norfolk and engage in such pursuits may want to take out
