This year's Night of Culture in Aalborg, Denmark will focus on the theme of 'trash'.
One Danish city is to pay more attention to rubbish than many people normally would as part of an upcoming event.
Aalborg's Night of Culture - which sees the metropolis dedicate itself to a night of eclectic arts events on an annual basis - will this year revolve around the theme of 'trash'.
Taking place on October 9th, Night of Culture will see performers and artists take to the streets and venues of Aalborg to entertain residents and visitors with all manner of rubbish-related theatre, dance and music performances, as well as art and film.
Just a few of the highlights include Pixel Junk, an exhibition of 18 TVs that have been turned into advanced performance instruments to help video jockeys visually reinterpret music.
Visitors to Aalborg will also be enlightened on how rubbish is significant to the world of music and art through the medium of old bottles and bins at the Trash event.
Travellers can enjoy attractions such as the Kunsten (Museum of Modern Art), the Defence and Garrison Museum, the Aalborg Maritime Museum and Aalborg Zoo during the day.
