Britons looking to get away on a winter sports holiday can find plenty of good deals at the moment, according to Teletext Holidays.
There are many good deals available for those looking for a cheap ski holiday, an expert has said.
Demand for winter sports breaks has fallen in the last year, so operators are doing their utmost to attract holidaymakers with cheap packages, according to Teletext Holidays travel expert Anthony Chenery.
Some of the best deals can be found in Europe, particularly in Bulgaria and Andorra, he explained.
"Those two places are two of the cheapest resorts to go to in Europe at the moment - and they are fantastic resorts for beginners as well," Mr Chenery stated.
Searching for cheap
ski insurance could also be useful in keeping the cost of a holiday as low as possible.
According to Santander Cards, the average cost of a winter sports package - including flights and accommodation - is £686.
However, costs can be reduced by staying from the more popular resorts, as they tend to command a premium, the company says.
